Hi, I am a direct descendent of Georg Peter Rücker and Ursula Agnes Maria through their son Johann Jakob Rücker. Georg and Ursula are my sixth great grandparents. Are we related? Jayne (jayne@mathrc.com) |

Wow! This is amazing. So yes, we are related. Georg and Ursula are also my sixth great grandparents through son Johann Georg Rücker. So I think that makes us 6th cousins! I've had some 4th and 5th cousins contact me before, but I think you are the first 6th cousin. Do you have more information on this family? My information came though another relative who had hired a researcher in Germany to research her family tree. I have not been able to verify any of the research. Would you be interested in an exchange of family information? |

I also hired a genealogist in Germany, and while I don't have copies of the records I think it's pretty accurate. Unfortunately the furthest back I have is on Georg Peter Rieker (spelled that way on the church birth record, although the sons were Rücker). But, I have everything forward in my direction. I can probably send a gedcom file or some sort of report. Let me know. It may be a few days as I live a busy life! Those Rucker descendents on my side all settled in WI when they came to the states, but I am in Grass Valley, CA with my husband and 3 kids. Am currently in Grad school through Texas A&M, an online program. I would love the information on Johann Georg in your direction. I also have Richters and Winklers in my tree.
