Hello, Thanks for supporting the pnTNG module -- I've created a site, http://www.haakenson.org and have installed the module. I can create blocks for what's new and it shows up -- but it doesn't link to the right file.

Do you have any idea about what is going on?

Regards,

Vanessa

I figured out the problem, I didn't put the pntng.php file in the postnuke root folder. :)

Vanessa,
You found a bug. You can correct in one of two ways:
1) Edit the file pnuserapi.php. Copy line 161 which looks like
$TNG_pwd = pnModAPIFunc('pnTNG','user','ranpass',array());

to line 148 which currently looks like
$TNG_pwd = pnTNG_ranpass();

or
2) In TNG, create a user with the username "Guest" (no quotes) and give it the permissions you want general non-logged in site visitors.

Sorry for the trouble. I will have to get a new version out to correct that.

BTW. You have a beautiful site. And thank you for all the work you have done with PostNuke.

Unregistered User Thanks Wendel I'll make the change. :) I also have another quick question -- I logged out of the TNF admin side but now can't log back in. Is there a URL I can use from within the PN interface?

Also, thanks for the compliment -- I'm still working on refining the look/feel and I'm glad to work on PN it's a pleasure working with so many cool people. I'm so glad its being used and benefits so many people.

BTW: here is a bit of code you can add to your style sheet to remove the black lines around your images

a img, img {
border: 0px;
}

Unregistered User Vanessa,
The short answer to your admin question is "no". The admin section of TNG uses frames. I have not been able to get that to work inside PN without using an iframe. So if you can't get to the admin outside of PN, it will not work "inside" PN either. The URL for the admin pages in the iframes is http://sitename.org/index.php?module=pnTNG&func=admin

Thanks for the style sheet tip.
