Announcing pnTNG 2.14
New in this version:
* Added ability to use pnTNG without IFRAMES (except for admin pages) Please see readme.txt for instructions.
* Updated Admin menu - added checks to show if directory and path settings are valid

Note: The required fields have changed in this version. so please recheck values in the pnTNG administration menu.

Using the non-IFRAME version is much more friendly to search engines like google and Yahoo!. It also will scale the window to the size of your TNG data with each page -- so there are no double scoll bars for long pages.

You can get the update in the Download section.

- Wendel

I used Window's build in zip. I re-zipped using 7-zip and replaced the file. Let me know if this one works better.

Hi Wendel,
I managed to extract the files using 7-zip but not automatically. 7-zip was telling me it was a unix fat32 archive and I had to view the archive and copy the files out, most wierd. That's the good news now the bad.

I cannot get it to work without Iframes, it works with Iframes apart from the random photo block which is empty in both modes.

It was working fine under pntng2.13
see www.parsons.me.uk/pnuke forget the cryptic 404 message, I moved a mirror from this US server to test TNG.
The TNG database is in www.parsons.me.uk/pnuke/genealogy

using pnuke 7.61 tng 5.1.1

Did you copy the pntng.php file from the pnTNG/PostNuke directory to your site's PostNuke directory? (step #4 in the readme.txt) When I go to your site, it says the file is not there.

Hi Wendel you beat me to it !!
I missed step 4. I think it's time for bed shouldn't start these things after midnight.
Now all i've got to do is get the random photoblock to work.
Sorry to trouble you
