Hi Wendel

QuoteFor some reason, on my site I need the table or the majority of the TNG data (except for the Person's name and the top menus) gets moved to below my left column. I'm not a CSS expert, so there is probably a more elegant solution. So I'm open to suggestions.

Mine works fine without the table but I in fact incorporated aspects of genstyle.css into my zanthia theme, that's the only way I could get my tng style mods to work in postnuke(without frames). The table forces my menu bar to the right, I can't see why as its anchored to an image bar that doesn't move !

It's getting more and more difficult to maintain the dhtml menu bar as TNG evolves I've had to hack Darrin's new googlemaplib file to get it to work in 6.2. I think it's time to cut my losses and customise the provided drop down menu for my needs. I'm seriously considering using a custom postnuke menu block.

I'm having serious problems with reliability of my current host and am looking at a leasing a VPS server and moving all my sites there. I should the have enough room to run a sandbox for testing purposes, will have a play with PN8 if and then.

Thanks for all your work
Martyn

Martyn,

I looked into the download. I started using a new download module and it looks like it has a few issues. The first being, it uses the download title to generate the download file name. Since I had extra periods in the title (in the release numbers) it kept them in the file name. So I think that is how you ended up with a .x since the file name generated was "pnTNG_3.11_for_TNG_v6.2.x.zip". I hacked the module so that it also takes those out. So now the file name should be something like "pnTNG_311_for_TNG_v62x.zip". I also corrected the 'ode' to 'Code'. I guess I need to play around with my own site more icon_smile

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Wendel,

Thank's for that Wendel. I've had to rem out the table as it broke my menu whose loader code is embedded into TNG's topmenu.html. Before I look at a more elegant solution what was the reason for the table wrapper?

Couple of points about the download. I could not automatically open the Archive, I had to extract a file with a .x extension and the rename it to a .zip file. This was the same in both Winzip, Winrar and Gz (on a linux machine). The other point is that your code check says 'ode.

Keep up the good work

I have posted pnTNG 3.11 in the Downloads section at http://www.voig...-lid-13.html.
It has the minor updates for TNG 6.2.x
Enjoy!

Cheers Wendel,

I'll hold fire until you release the new Pnuke mod as I have made extensive use of the title bar by modifying tng's header output. see :-

http://www.bols...2&tree=study

It's now being picked up in google's index nicely and I don't want to screw things up.

Martyn,
I am running the last beta and plan to do the final checkout of the official TNG 6.2.0 release this weekend. For the most part, the latest TNG 6.2.0 and pnTNG 3.10 work fine together.

The only minor problem I have found is a change in a line I was grabbing to display the TNG title in the browser title. Thus, for example, a person's name would not show in the PostNuke's browser's title. I'll probably release a new pnTNG version in a few days to fix so everyone is up to date. But it will be a very minor release and not needed for things to work.

Hi Wendel,

I seem to recollect from the mailing list that you had a problem with the new media preview. It appears to be working fine on your site. Is there anything I need to know before installing the final version of 6.2.

I am running TNG without frames in PostNuke albeit with a few mods.

Cheers Martyn
