Ray was full of love, and demonstrated his God-loving spirit to the end. He was happy that his wife of 30 years didn't have to experience his painful death. Ray was an unselfish man. After attending San Antonio Tech, he entered the Navy, where he served as torpedoman. He returned to San Antonio afterwards. Ray loved cars, classic trucks, country music, and wrestling. Ray loved his home, Paramount Rehabilitation, and those that cared for him including Melissa, Barbie, Randy, Natasha, Lindy and Mary Ann. The family would like to thank Odyssey Healthcare of San Antonio and Dr. Michael Cole, his son-in-law, who welcomed Ray into his home and cared for him the last three years.
