Book includes a picture of Louis W. and Louise Eckermann. On page 55 states Louis W. was born March 19, 1831, arrived at Galveston April 1, 1854, married Louise Charlotte Henriette Meier in 1860.

Westerwald is located between Hanover and Miden and is on the south slope of the Buckeburg (Bucke Mountains). Godfather listed as Ludwig Grupe. Louis married Scharlotte in 1860. States that according to the "Naturalization Records of Austin, Guadeloupe (sic) and Washington Counties, Texas" by Addison Oates, Louis W. Eckermann became a citizen of America on 25 Sep 1865.
