      IMMIGRATION: Philip immigrated from Schadeck, bei Runkel, Nassau to Texas in 1844 on the brig JOHANN DETHARDT. Philipp is one of the first founders of New Braunfels, Texas. Philipp was enrolled as #158 in the German Protestant Congregation register. He received Town lot #99, a 1/2 Bavarian acre lot situated on the east side of Mill Street midway between Seguin and Market Streets on his 17th birthday on 01 Jul 1845. The deeds do not indicate that he received an Acre lot out of town.
