A. Louise Lynn 87 of 1605 Norris St Saxton died unexpectedly at 10:20 am saturday Dec 22 2001 at home.
Born May 1, 1914 in Dudley, she was the daughter of James C and Alice (Johnson) Figard. She married William O. Lynn Dec 9, 1935 in Cumberland Md. He preceded her in death March 23, 1994.
Survining are a son and two daughters: James E. Lynn and Linda L. Barton both of Saxton and JoAnna Bratt of Middleburg Heights, Ohio. There are five grandchildren and five great grand children
One sister Alice Black of Saxton survives. Brothers James, Willard and Sharon Figard and sisters Nancy Figard, Mona Lowe and Janet Mitchell preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lynn was a member of the Saxton First Church of God.
She graduated from Saxton High School in 1931 and Liberty Central Hight School in 1932. For many years, she was a Penn State Co-operative Extension home nutrition aide in Bedford County. She was also employed by the Green Thumb program.
Mrs. Lynn was a member of the Broad Top Area Senior Citizensa and the Saxton Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star No 161. She enjoyed camping, traveling and playing cards, and she was an avid Penn State and Steelers fan.
Funeral services were held Dec 24 at the D. Ronald Long Funeral Chapel Saxton, with Pastor John Robinson officiating. Interment was made in Grandview Cemetary in the Saxton area.
