Robinson-Zwahr states that the Sophienburg Museum in New Braunfels has a document of the birth of Johann Ferdinand Gottlieb Voigt which translated reads: "For the purposes of correcting the town rolls it is herewith on the basis of the baptismal registers and church records, in accordance with my duty, certified that Hannah Eleonore weded Voigt nee Bork in wedlock with the citizen Gottfried Voigt Pras. Porchlin in the District of Neustettin is born on the 9th of April A.D. 1826 a boy who has received in Holy Baptism on April 16, 1826, the names of Johann Ferdinand Gottlieb. Executed at Cporichen October 10, 1827 by H. Goldbeck, Pastor of the town."
